Operator and eligibility
HearthTrace is provided by LDM Co LLC for adults who want to organize home records. Use the app only if you are an adult under the law that applies to you. Our privacy policy explains local storage, optional backups, sharing, and platform services.
Software license
On Apple platforms, the applicable App Store license governs the software, including the Apple Standard EULA where no custom license applies. These product terms supplement that license without overriding mandatory platform terms. On Android, LDM Co LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive license to use HearthTrace for its intended purpose on devices you are entitled to use, subject to these terms and applicable store conditions.
Your records
You retain your rights in your records. Enter, scan, photograph, and share only information you are authorized to use. Review the contents and destination before sharing records with helpers, service providers, or other devices. Using HearthTrace does not give LDM Co LLC ownership of your home records.
Verify safety-relevant information
HearthTrace is a recordkeeping aid. Labels, text recognition, photographs, dimensions, augmented-reality displays, and saved observations may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Independently verify physical equipment and conditions before acting. A saved label is not proof that a circuit is de-energized, a valve is isolated, equipment is safe, or a structure can support a load.
Use qualified professionals for work requiring training or licensing. Follow applicable safety procedures and manufacturer instructions. Do not rely on HearthTrace for emergency response, hazard detection, code compliance, or authorization to perform hazardous work.
Purchases and platform differences
The purchase screen identifies the price and features before purchase. Apple and Google Play process purchases under their billing and refund procedures. Restore eligible purchases through the store account used to buy them. Apple and Google Play entitlements are separate unless an offer expressly states otherwise. Moving an archive does not transfer a store entitlement. Features may differ by platform, device, region, and app version.
Backups and deletion
Keep independent copies of records you need. Local, cloud, exported, and shared copies are distinct; removing the app does not necessarily delete the others. Use the controls described in our privacy policy to remove each relevant copy. LDM Co LLC cannot restore a local-only archive it never received.
Availability and changes
We take reasonable care in providing the app and support but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or continued compatibility with every device or third-party service. We may make changes needed for maintenance, security, or legal compliance, providing notice and remedies where required. Material changes to these terms apply prospectively, with notice and any agreement required by law; they do not remove accrued rights.
Consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer guarantees or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Statutory cancellation, refund, conformity, and other remedies remain available. No provision removes a mandatory right to bring a claim in the courts of your home jurisdiction.
